Let's lend a helping hand!

Hi :)

This is 2-year-old Ammar Danish. He is suffering from Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) since birth. Which also means.. he has a hole in his heart which results in oxygenated blood and non-oxygenated blood mixing together, which in turn puts a lot of strain on his heart and lung arteries.

In some cases, the hole eventually seals itself up after some time, but during a routine checkup on 11 January 2010, it was clear that that wasn’t the case with Baby Ammar and doctors pronounced surgery as being necessary to prevent the situation from growing worse.

Baby Ammar’s mother is Nuffnanger Azmaniza bt Mohamad Kamal, who blogs at http://mylife-asz.blogspot.com.

Ammar has difficultly in breathing and eating. & he is constantly coughing. (which gets him hospitalized often)

The deposit for the surgery to close the PDA will cost RM12,000 and is a tremendous burden for Azmaniza, a full-time working mom with five children to feed. FIVE OK!!!

There are a few ways you can help Baby Ammar get the surgery that he needs:

1. Enable ‘Show Charity Ads’ in your Blog Manager preferences for the duration of this fundraiser. You will not be paid for displaying the ads, but the ads will greatly help to promote this cause to more people who might be willing to do something for Baby Ammar.

2. Blog about Baby Ammar’s condition, and include a link to this Nuffnang blog post so that your readers will know where to go for more information. Again, this will also do a great service to Baby Ammar by spreading the word about his condition.

3. Make a donation to Azmaniza Mohamad Kamal – 514093114912 (Maybank). Every little bit helps, so please do contribute any amount you can.

Baby Ammar’s surgery is scheduled for 22 February 2010, and the fund-raising effort will end on midnight at 17 February 2010. It is indeed a short period of time, but let us all rise to the occasion and prove to everyone the strength of a blogging community like ours. Nuffnang will update in their post from time to time on the amount of donations raised.

I find this story really inspiring as I know friends, which are my church members! that have experienced something like this before, it was a very tough situation to be in. and they had to keep that faith up even when they are facing a very difficult situation.

but there is no limit on how far your faith can go.
They did not limit themselves, did not underestimate faith and were truly believing that God will take care of it.

:) And of course God did!
Baby Estelle is now 2 years old! If I'm not wrong :p And it was just yesterday! that I saw her walking omg so cute! hehehehhehehheh. What a miracle baby! :) -- I truly believe Ammar deserves a chance in experiencing a fun normal life too! Right? ;)

Wasted

So I said I loved yesterday,
but I really really really dislike today.

Church was good!
but after that I totally wasted a good weekend, a free day instead of schooling days!! But lemme tell you what I did..

SLEPT FOR THREE HOURS! 3.30-6.30. (?!?!?!?!)
When I woke up I got so pissed at myself and my dad, because firstly: if I knew we wouldnt be doing any shopping today I would have went out earlier, but since I followed them back my dad agreed to bring me out for some 18holes! BUT HE DID NOT WAKE ME UP.

...
anyway had porridge for dinner. and some rojak. and some wtrmelon juice. ok I dont feel as bad afterall. [:)]

BUT THEN WHEN I CAME HOME I FELT PISSED AGAIN.

lol.

But anyway this week.. is gonna be a really busy week for me.

• I will have English Oral Test on Tuesday.
• I will have to bentang some BM Komsas on Wednesday.
• I will have BM Oral Test on Thursday.

so everyday I have to prepare a lot and make time even when there isnt any.

Anyway I realised I hvnt been feeling good about myself lately.. not often!
So I shall set out some stuffs to do to make me feel like I'm doing something good. :)

• I know this is not very beneficial (or isit?) but I still need a bigBIGbig shopping spree!
  
• do a community work (mhm!)
• trust in you.
  
• DO MY 2:14!

I shall accomplish all these things :)
Then I will be happy again! --

MY SATURDAY.

Hahahahhahaha ok I know I have been depressed about my Saturday and all this afternoon,
but guess what! I said I must make it a good one, and this is really really good!
In other words, 'some random word that is better than good'. Hahahahahahahah lol lame~

Ok so basically what I did was:

• 2 hours long Interact Meeting

Productive!

• Had a really funny 'session' outside KFC (HAHAHHAHAHA)

(ok I know you guys dont get it)
moving on..

• Had a really good 'study' session hahahhahaha with Manda Chow~

wow I think our friendship grew another 100% in this 'study' session.. more like studying about each other ahhahahhahahahhahhahahhahahahhahahahahha!?!
+ I finished my homework! At least one! LOL.

• Had a really really really good dinner!

Bonding session between parents & I & the boss! LOL. Had really really good beef that made us speechless (in a good way!) & good camwhore session with my MUM. I know! Can you believe it!! :D Wowowow

I know.. it's a Saturday!! Whyyyy!?!? I feel so frustrated at myself for feeling like this lol.

Just a short update about what I did last Wednesday night! :)

Went all the way to SS2 to eat pigs!! for a 'farewell' dinner for Adrienna as she will be going to Aussie soon :(
